Happy New Year! Welcome 2019!

Welcome 2019!

Here are some quilts I finished in 2018:

Notice that the last photo is marked 2015. That is because I have been remaking this quilt. I am totally finished remaking it, but it has been so rainy here in Georgia, that even when it isn't raining, it is still too wet outside for me to feel comfortable making quilt photos, so I am posting the original quilt.

Surely, I made more than that!

The next quilts are completely pieced, and are with Regina Carter, my wonderful friend, who is also my trusty long arm quilter:

I am really looking forward to getting those quilts back from Regina, getting them bound and added to my trunk show, since I sold a few quilts out of my collection this year. These are the quilts that went to live in a new home:

I also made many sets of pot holders, pillow cases, and chicken pincushions.

And I was fortunate enough to be welcomed  to many guilds, and speak to them, and teach classes, and participate in several art shows throughout the year.

I am so grateful for all of those who invited me to spend time with their guild, all of you who visit my blog, and bought my quilts and patterns!

Last, but not least, the town I live in, Porterdale, Georgia, was kind enough to name me their Quilter Laureate! How cool is it that I live in a town that would even think of having a Quilter Laureate! This month we are starting a series of quilting classes in Porterdale. If you live in the vicinity, you can click here for more information about that. Just scroll down for future classes. Or, if you prefer, just post a comment with any questions you have.

Lets hope that 2019 is as much fun and as interesting for all of us!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
